2016 - Present

Assistant Professor of Military Science/Executive Officer, Department of MIlitary Science, Jackson State University, Jackson, MS            

Serves as Executive Officer in the Department of Military Science (Army ROTC). Provides oversight of staff operations, assists with Senior Cadet teaching duties, and coordinates assistance to 150 Cadets in eight Mississippi universities in the 6th Brigade, US Army Cadet Command.


2013 - 2016

Assistant Professor/Course Director, Department of Behvioral Sciences & Leadership, US Military Academy, West Point, NY                   

Taught General Psychology for Leaders, Experimental Psychology, and Anthropometry & Biomechanics in the Department of Behavioral Sciences & Leadership in order to educate, train, and inspire 270 Cadets to become commissioned leaders of character and US Army Officers. 

2010 - 2011

Aide-de-Camp, US Army Human Resources Command, Alexandria, VA/Fort Knox, KY                                            

Served as the personal and administrative assistant to The 64th Adjutant General of the US Army, who simultaneously served as the Commanding General, US Army Physical Disability Agency and Executive Director, Military Postal Service Agency.

2008 - 2010    

Commander, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, US Army Garrison, Fort Myer, VA                          

Exercised command authority and responsibility over 240 assigned and 1200 attached Soldiers and Families within the

Military District of Washington.

2005 - 2008

Battalion Human Resources Officer, Special Troops Battalion, 4th Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Bliss, TX                                            

Responsible for all human resources operations for a 650-Soldier Task Force of a heavy Brigade Combat Team in the 1st Cavalry Division, both in garrison and forward deployed for 15 months in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom 06-08 to Mosul, Iraq. Additionally served as Battalion Unit Victim Advocate and Brigade Postal Officer.

2004 - 2005

Assistant Brigade Human Resources Officer, 108th ADA Brigade (Airborne), Fort Bliss, TX                                      

Coordinated human resources support for a 2000-Soldier Air Defense Artillery Brigade organic to the XVIII Airborne Corps; advised the Brigade Commander and staff on all personnel actions and mail operations.
